I’m Marco, a native English speaking teacher, literate in both Spanish, Arabic, and conversational in Mandarin. I hold degrees and certification in Spanish, Arabic, and English language.  

I was born in the United States and have lived abroad since the age of four. I am fascinated by new languages and cultures and have learned to speak, read and write the languages of each of the countries in which I have lived. Presently, I am teaching ESL, Spanish, and beginner’s Arabic online.

During our classes, I will be able to speak to you in your native language. Because I know your language, I can help you understand what I call the “language train-of-thought”. Native speakers of Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish and English all think and communicate in very different ways. Understanding the fundamental differences between your way of thinking and an English speaker’s way of thinking is an important key to the learning process.

I offer targeted lesson planning. Your lesson will focus on your specific needs and identify where you need reinforcement. At the end of each lesson, you will receive a Home Study Guide that will concentrate on exactly what you need to study in order to improve.
